Disney's Animal Kingdom
Located at Orlando, Florida, Disney's Animal Kingdom just celebrated its 13th anniversary on April 22nd. The park has an almost 1800 animals representing more than 250 different species. Divided into seven regions covering the animals from whole world, the park had fun rides as well for visitors of all ages. Some standout attractions include Komodo dragon, Maharajah Jungle Trek, a hot and happening roller coaster ride - Expedition Everest. 4D "Bugs Life" adventure, Kali River Rapids, numerous waterfalls, and the Dinosaur, a adventurous ride involving a chase of a sixty-five-million-year-old dinosaur while successfully escaping from the jaws of another.

North Carolina Zoo (Asheboro, North Carolina)
Recently in the news for its mind blowing Earth Day celebrations, this state owned zoo is located in the middle of Randolph County, near the town of quite Asheboro, virtually equidistant from the state's three largest cities of Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro. With nearly 1,500 acres to it, Native American art, culture, dance, music and mystery combines beautifully with the animals' natural habitats. The North Carolina Zoo is also the nation's biggest walk-through zoo and rated best for North American animals and exhibits. Covered by beautiful Rocky Coast on one side the zoo has Arctic habitat for seals, polar bears, sea lions, puffins, and penguins living under deep pools with wide underwater windows. The southwest part of the zoo has Sonora Desert filled with creatures like humming birds, roadrunners, desert reptiles, wild cats, and vampire bats. There's also a boardwalk leading through Cypress Swamp and highlighting alligators and cougars as main attractions. The attractive wooded habitats have red wolves, wild foxes and grizzly bears.
