Europe was always loved for its beauty. It had an aura that no other continent could
match. But sadly, things have changed since the last year. The lavishness now has
a very high price tag. Hotel charges are rising, food is not cheap and
car hire is costlier than ever.
This summer, let's not cross the pond and stay where we are. Yes, the pound is definitely
falling against the dollar but it can still get you a lot. The deeply hit tourism
industry of US is striving to get on its back. The warm days and long nights accompanied
by friends and families with garden barbecues and beer cans can indeed become a
part of your dream holiday.
There are hoteliers that are letting no stone unturned in making their places attractive.
They have made promotion plans that offer extended special hospitality packages
giving away extra nights or free food. Kids can eat complimentary at restaurants
and shopping is forever discounted. And on the top of that, the
car hire rates are much lower than Europe.
Consider renting a car in Spain and be ready to throw £230 in the pool. Rent
the same class of car from in
Las Vegas and it's going to cost you only £130, additional £25
to fill up the tank. You don't need a calculator to know how much would you save?
As for the coke and sandwich, it's easy to get a double Philly cheese steak, with
rings, fries and a brew, and still have enough change from 10 bucks to have a Twinkie
- if you know what it is.
Overall, it's a deal worth trying before the summers pass away and you remain glued
to your laptop still searching for the cheapest holiday destinations.
