To and fro from the airport
Taxi
The taxi service can be availed from the lower level of Terminal D and upper level
of Terminals A, B, C and E. There is always a Airport Guest Assistant between
8:00 AM till midnight to help passengers. The visitors arriving during off-duty
hours can dial 972-574-5878 to request a taxi.
The usual fares start from $2.25 for initial drop, and additional $.20
is charged for every 1/9 miles. The airport exit fee is around $4 that is
usually shelled out by the customer. Extra passenger rate it $2. There is a
flat rate of $40.00 to locations within the Dallas Central Business District
and the rates do not include fuel surcharge. Limos can be called from the same locations
within the terminals.
Train
Fort Worth's The T and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) offer direct
rail service to Dallas/Fort Worth Airport from Fort Worth and Dallas through
Trinity Railway Express or TRE (www.trinityrailwayexpress.org),

Operated from Monday to Saturday, Trinity Railway Express can be boarded from
Victory Station, South Irving, West Irving, Union Station, Medical/Market
Center, Richland Hills, Hurst/Bell, ITC and T&P. A single-trip
ticket to stations for the eastern side of CentrePort/Dallas/Fort Worth
Airport Station is for $3.75, for the western side of CentrePort/ Dallas/Fort
Worth Airport Station, it is $2.50.
Bus
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) www.dart.org;
214-979-1111; provides reliable service to Remote North Parking via
route 310 bus from Monday till Friday and to Remote South Parking via route 408
bus all days in a week. A free shuttle service connects all the airport terminals
to these two locations. The fare for both the routes is $1.75.
Car Rental
The Dallas
Car Rental center is located near the south entrance of the Airport at 2424
E. 38th St. The arriving passengers can follow the car rental Dallas
signboards after collecting their baggage. From the lower level of the terminal,
rental car shuttle services run every five minutes and reach the Rental Car Center
in within 10 minutes.
The departing passengers need to return the vehicle to the Rental Car Center. Please
contact your car rental in Dallas company for off-site car
pickups.
The airport is situated 16 miles northwest of the city and can be reached via I-35
