Taxi cab service is provided by various companies from front of baggage claim areas
A and B. Taxi dispatchers are placed to assist passengers at the airport. Estimated
fares to selected locations: Kailua Kona Town $30, Captain Cook/Kona
Hospital $60, Kaiminani Drive $20, Ka'u $180, Kohala
$120, Volcano/Hilo $300, Waimea $100, Waikoloa $90.

Airport Shuttle
SpeediShuttle (Phone: 877-242-5777) offers convenient shuttle
service to and from the Kona International Airport. Upon arriving at the Airport,
passengers can proceed to the Shuttle Service counters at the Baggage Claim area.
Car Rental
The Kailua
Kona car rental centre is located at the end of baggage claim area,
right next to the exit section. If you are arriving in the city; follow the
car rental signboards after collecting you baggage. The departing
passengers are required to return the vehicle to the car rental center. Please contact
your car
rental company for off-site car pickups.
You can also use the courtesy telephone located in baggage reclaim to call car hire
companies and ask to be picked up by their complimentary shuttle bus services. Shuttle
buses leave from outside baggage reclaim and drop you at the car hire pick-up
area.
