Transportation from the airport
Train
There is a mass-transit Monorail system and a fixed rail system that connects
airport to the downtown Miami. The triRail commuter train reaches Palam Beach County
from the Airport's main Station to the eastern side of the airport at NW 21st
Street. Regular shuttle services are available from the arrival terminal, right
outside the baggage claim area.
Bus
The bus station is located on the Level 1 of the concourse E. Miami-Dade Transit
Department also runs an express bus from Miami airport to Miami Beach (route
150). For the passengers looking for direct transportation to Alton Road and
Collins Avenue, this is a good option. Fare is nominal - $2.35 and the
buses run 7 days a week from 6.00 am - 11.00 pm. All the Airport Flyer buses
are equipped with luggage racks to keep heavy baggage and offer comfortable seating
for people of all ages. These are branded in special ways for easy identification
by the public.
