Transportation from the airport
Taxi
The Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) has two terminals
and taxi services are available at both of them. To take a taxi from Terminal 1-Lindbergh,
move to the Tram Level (Level T). There are various signs at the airport
that can help you in locating the level. Passengers getting down at the Terminal
2-Humphrey can take the taxi service from the Ground Transport Center, located
across the terminal building, on the ground level of the Purple parking ramp.
Fare to Downtown Minneapolis averages $35-$45 whereas downtown St. Paul
can be reached by spending approximately $30. The taxi meter starts from $2.35
per mile and additional $3.50 is charged as trip fee, added to the final
metered fare.
Bus
Out of the two terminals, only Lindbergh has the bus stops for the passengers.
Visitors arriving at Humphrey can either take light rail or taxi to move out of
the airport. Metro Transit provides services to the airport through Route 54. The
pickup stop is located outside the Lindbergh Transit Center, on Level 1 of the
Red and Blue parking ramps.
Hotel Shuttle Service
Most of the hotels in the Minneapolis area provide free shuttle services to and
from the airport. Call them in advance to make necessary arrangements.
Light rail transit
An easier option to commute from the international airport, the light rail transit
or LRT stops at both the terminals and connects nearly 15 destinations to them.

car rental centre is located at the end of baggage claim area, right
next to the exit section. If you are arriving in the city; follow the rental
car signboards after collecting you baggage. The departing passengers are required
to return the vehicle to the car rental center. Please contact
