Rental Washington is served by three major airports: Dulles Airport (IAD),
Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI).
At Cheap
Car Rental Washington, Reagan National Airport (DCA) is great for short
haul flights. It's convenient to the city, metro-accessible, and a breeze to get
in and out. However, the runway is short, so the planes are generally smaller and
don't fly long distances.
Dulles Airport (IAD) is not the most public-transport friendly airport, but it does
serve international flights, something Reagan National does not. It's a pain to
get to and through, but sometimes the fares are much cheaper than National or BWI,
depending on where you're going.
Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) has been going through quite a
bit of growing pains the past few years.

Consequently, flying in and out of Cheap Car Rental Washington is not the most convenient.
Security lines are notoriously long, and parking and public transport are not the
best. BWI airport is at least a 45 minute drive from downtown DC
There is frequent service to Washington's Union Station from various places, including
Chicago, New York, Florida, New Orleans, and Boston. The new Acela Express line
offers high speed service up and down the Northeast corridor between Washington
and Boston.
